At the CLC 2023 conference Dr. Michal Demečko will present an invited lecture.
Personal Background and Education:
Ing. Michal Demecko, Ph.D. studied at the Technical University in Kosice/Slovakia and in 2019 got his Ph.D. in the field of Industrial Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
Professional career and Other Activities:
He started his career as a consultant at API – Academy of productivity and Innovations/Czech rep. where he cooperated in dozens of projects for companies from industries such as automotive, defense, pharmaceutical, steel and others.
Since 2016 he has been a partner in the Lean Institute Slovakia & Czechia.
Since 2018 he has been working in Škoda Auto a.s. in Logistics planning department. For the first two years he worked on the INDIA 2.0 project at the Mlada Boleslav/Czech rep. and Pune/India. After returning to Mlada Boleslav, he continued working in Logistics planning department with a focus on planning of foreign projects (India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Russia, China) and components for engines, gearboxes, axles, and batteries production.
