Position: university professor at the Department of Maintenance and Operation of Technical Systems; Advisor to the Vice-Rector for Organization and Development at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.

Specialization: sustainable city logistics systems and operational risk management in transport companies; designing and improving logistics processes, assessing risks and improving the resilience of supply chains


At the CLC 2023 conference Prof. Agnieszka Tubis will present an invited lecture.


Education and professional background:
Prof. Agnieszka Tubis is a Wroclaw University of Economics graduate, where she completed her master's degree and received her doctorate in the discipline of Organization and Management. She obtained the degree of habilitated doctor at the Warsaw University of Technology in the discipline of Transport. She was the Dean of the Faculty of Logistics and Transport and the Rector of the International University of Logistics and Transport in Wroclaw. Currently, she is employed as a university professor at the Department of Maintenance and Operation of Technical Systems at the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology. She is also an Advisor to the Vice-Rector for Organization and Development of WUST.


Research and academic focus:
She is the author and co-author of about 140 publications on issues related to the functioning and improvement of production, logistics, and transport systems. She conducts research focused on the design and improvement of logistics processes, risk assessment, and building the resilience of supply chains. She is also an expert in sustainable city logistics systems and operational risk management in transport companies.

She is a long-term trainer and business advisor in Polish production, trade, and service companies. She has completed business internships and worked in urban and regional passenger transport companies, freight transport operators, production companies, and the company that develops IT transport solutions.


Scientific and research activity:
She participated in 18 R&D projects (national and international), which concerned, among others, the improvement of transport and logistic systems.

She is a board member of the Polish Logistics Society and the Polish Maintenance Society. She represents Poland in the General Assembly of the European Federation of National Operating Societies (EFNMS). She is also a board member of the ESReDA (European Safety Reliability & Data Association).

She represents the Wrocław University of Science and Technology in the Lower Silesian Automotive Cluster - Logistics section.
